Need ways to catchup on old debt to save my marriage. I don't budget well and need advice.

Try hooking into Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. A local church may offer this Christian-based financial counseling service course. It's excellent.

Look for ways to cut expenses. If your truly interested in cutting costs there are things you dont need. I cut out cable TV did away with my phone as cellular was cheaper. Pack my lunch dont eat out as often if at all. Keep track of what I save and make sure the money is going toward credit card debt. I am paying off the higher interest rate card first then will add more to the lower one. Good luck

Easy, Only Buy the things you must have to Live off from. Food, electric, water, the important things in which to live on. You DON'T need expensive cars, clothing, vacations, or the trillion other things such as dining out UNTIL your home is Paid Off and your Debt free. It took my husband and I six years to pay off our first home. We had two young children. We stayed home and didn't go out and party. We ate a LOT of chicken and hamburger. Really it's sooooo simple, people just make it complicated..It doesn't need to be….Until you can realise that you probly won't save a cent…Your spose is more Valuable than the things You DON'T need, soooo GO WITHOUT UNTIL THE big ticket items are Paid off, if you can't do it, seek professional help, Seriously…..

Dave Ramsey's "Financial Peace" is the best method I know of. He has been there and knows firsthand about this subject. I believe his URL is Dave Ramsey.com. You can find further info there. He has also written several books on the subject.
