I believe in talking, not yelling. Making changes, doing different things that helps the relationship. You have to work at your relationship everyday. Pick a time when you can tell your feelings where the other person will listen.

You need to look at your interactions with your partner and decide where the areas for improvement might be–look at your behavior as well as your partners. I would recommend individual and couples counseling (if your partner is willing). You also must remember that your partner has a right to make choices and decisions that may not be in line with your hopes and goals. You may not be able to stop the breakup, but it might be worth the hard work to at least try to find out what led the two of you into the situation.. without placing blame.

Do some counseling. It helps to have a referee.
I went into my marriage informing my husband that divorce is NOT an option. For either of us. If we have a no divorce option, we are more likely to work out our problems.
